Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort will commence its renovation on 01 September 2015. The renovation will take approximately 12 months and during this time the hotel will completely closed to public.
We are excited to announce that the resort will be reinventing its 300 guestrooms and suites by turning them into stylish and elegant spaces providing guests with unparalleled comfort and a brand new resort experience. This renovation will begin on 1 September 2015 and last for a period of approximately twelve months, during which time the hotel will be totally closed to the public.
Designed by Vincent Koh, David Wong and Edwin Teo of the renowned local interior design firm Environmental Design Consultants, the all-new guestrooms will feature modern aesthetic design accentuated by traditional Malaysian crafted elements.
A new and luxurious family-oriented room category will be introduced as a result of this renovation. This 68 square metres accommodation will provide young families or extended-stay guests with a stylish living room that leads out on to a private balcony. A separate bedroom will provide guests with privacy and feature an elegantly fitted bathroom that expands into the bedroom for an extra sense of space.
Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort’s versatile meeting and event space covers over 780 square metres and will be refurbished to reflect the contemporary design of the resort. Elegant marble flooring, fresh plush carpets and energy-saving lighting are a few new additions that will greet guests entering the revamped spaces.
We will honour the last check-in on 29 August 2015, and the last check-out shall be on 31 August 2015. We will be ready to enter into a new contract for 2017 / 18 in early 2016. We will keep you updated of the renovation developments and will advise on the date of completion once it has been ascertained.
