Greetings from Aitken Spence Hotels !

We write to keep you informed that our Management has entered into an agreement with the FTI Group for an exclusivity based contract applicable to The Sands Resort, Kalutara with effect from 01st Nov, 2015. The said agreement provides exclusivity to the FTI Group & it's associated brands for the German, Swiss & Austrian markets for the period 01st Nov, 2015 to 31st Oct, 2016 with an option of further extensions.

The said agreement is based on a mutual understanding reached between the FTI Group & The Sands Resort wherein in return for the exclusivity provided the Resort receives a commitment based operation. In light of this agreement please be informed that The Sands Resort,Kalutara will not be available for reservations from the German, Austrian & Swiss markets. You may recall that we had communicated a STOP SALES notification for the period 01st Nov, 2015 onwards. Hence any reservations taken from the aforesaid markets for the Winter 15-16 period will be upgraded to Heritance Ahungalla at no extra cost. In this regard it would be appreciated if you could forward all bookings taken for the Winter 15-16 period as at the cut off date of 22nd April, 2015. Appreciate very much if the above referred bookings can be forwarded to us no later than the 8th of May, 2015.
