Atlas Helicopters: The Race of Champions Returns to London in 2015!

If you want to experience motor racing close-up, see every corner and every maneuver happen in front of you, while roaring engines and the smell of petrol fill the air, then the Race of Champions is for you.

Taking place in the former Olympic Stadium on November 21st, the event will feature some of the world's best drivers going head-to-head in a race to end all races.

These stars of every track will be competing for team, country and personal pride in a bid to become the Champion of Champions.

All motorsport drivers can take part in the race, which attracts the biggest names from around over the world. Rally, NASCAR, Le Mans and Formula One drivers, all step up and show their skills in the most famous inter-format series of all time.

The Track in a Stadium

The track is totally unique in its layout and has been since the parallel race was adopted 1989 Race of Champions at the Nurburgring. The stadium will feature two parallel tracks with a crossover bridge, and drivers have the same start time and will drive the same length of tarmac side by side, ensuring a thrilling photo finish which will come down to the tiniest of microseconds.

This is the best possible method of ensuring that the crowd get to see the most exciting moments of the races, as well as having a track which will suit all types of cars equally and really prove which driver can show their pure skill and talent, without extra complications or considerations from the track.

This year's drivers are still being announced, but so far the lineup is very exciting, featuring the likes of fan favourite and current Champion David Coulthard, veteran Felipe Massa, four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, up-and-comer Nico Hulkenberg and Red Bull's very own Daniel Ricciardo from Formula One, reigning Formula E champion Nelson Piquet Jr., nine-times Le Mans 24 hours winner Tom Kristensen, 2014 world Rallycross champion Petter Solberg, and Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan, world champions of MotoGP.

Newly added to the list is BTCC veteran Jason Plato who has more wins than any other driver, and who will be lining up to race for Team England.

This year's event is sure to be an exciting, rip-roaring, heart-in-your-mouth race which will come down to the wire. With all these fantastic huge names in contention for the title of Champion of Champions, it's going to be an intense ride, and there can only be one winner. Who's your money on?
